We will even supply you with material lists & quantities as well as recommended suppliers & trades.
HIRING A TRADITIONAL CONTRACTOR
General builders or contractors these days are generally small teams specializing in one aspect of the project (usually joinery) & they will sub contract all other aspects out to the relevant trade.
This all works well... in theory, however, as the main contractor is organizing these trades & materials then they will put a markup of around 20% to cover their time & effort, also as the non Vat registered subbie is working through the main contractor, then Vat still must be added to your invoice for the work!
By taking on this role yourself for the internal fit out of your extension, you could save a HUGE 20-30% on the project!
